A lot is involved in building an earthship: planning on how the building should look, acquiring ground and a buildinglicense, getting the money and materials together often combined with a job to keep the bills payed.

When are you ever going to get time to set up some facilities for the much needed volunteers to assist you with building? Let alone set up something to arrange volunteers.

With the latter EEBU can provide help.

Earthship Europe is meant to be a central point for European non-profit earthship organisations, European earthship projects, volunteers willing to work on European earthship projects and European earthship communities alike.

This is an effort to try and get some more coordination and cooperation on a European level.

It is all about sharing know how, experience, energy and in a more 'open source' and 'non-profit' kind of way. We call it Open Source Earthship Building (OSEB).
